Welsh Museums Festival is back this coming October, with a whole week of special events and activities for all ages at museums across our sites.
This year’s Festival runs from Saturday 28 October until Sunday 5 November, and we’re ready to welcome you during the half term holidays for a truly #historichalfterm, with plenty of Halloween hullabaloo too!
There will be games, puzzles, activities and much more; plenty to entertain the little ones so the big ones can enjoy what our museums have to offer!
At Abergavenny, Chepstow and Shire Hall Museums you can get into the Halloween spirit with make and take crafts including Bat Bunting, Twirly Ghosts and Black Cat masks. No need to book, just drop in. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
These will be available at Abergavenny and Chepstow Museum every day 11am-4pm except Wednesday and at Shire Hall every day 11-4 except Wednesday and Sunday.
Also, have fun with friends and family at our half-term craft afternoon for kids led by the creative MonLife Heritage Museums Volunteers, Thursday 2 November 2-4pm, The Drill Hall, Lower Church Street Chepstow
