Calling all families! Mark your calendars for the ultimate playtime extravaganza at Caldicot leisure Centre on Wednesday 7th August from 11am to 3pm. National Playday is here, and we’re celebrating children’s right to play while emphasising its vital role in their lives.
No need to book, just simply turn up and play. Get ready for an action-packed day with an array of exciting activities for all ages and abilities which includes:
- Bouncing castle Slide
- Climbing wall
- Bush crafts
- Den building
- Cardboard City
- Loose parts station
- Sand, water and messy play
- craft stations including freely chosen craft
- Wet sponge stocks
- Sport station with variety of equipment
- Archery
- Gymnastic balance beams
- Cheer leading
- Library in Cafe
- Soft play and sensory equipment within cafe
- Potions making shop
- Toys and games from the past
- Music making station
- Silent Disco
Families are encouraged to bring their favourite snacks and enjoy a leisurely picnic amidst the playtime frenzy. Just a heads-up: messy and water play are on the agenda, so dress accordingly! We take no responsibility for soiled clothes — let the fun be wild and carefree.
