Join us for our Santa’s Grotto at Caldicot Castle!

There’ll be a chance for children to meet Father Christmas, let him know what they want for Christmas and come away with their own gift. There’s also hot drinks, mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies being served in the gift shop to fully get you into the Christmas spirit.

Dates – 7th, 8th, 14th & 15th December
CUSTOMER NOTICE: Due to the red weather warning forecast issued for Storm Darragh, the Country Park will be closed tomorrow Saturday 7th of December.  Sadly this also means we have to cancel our planned Santas Grotto experience on the 7th as it will be unsafe to access the Castle.
Times – Half hour sessions from 10am – 4pm (half hour break for Santa 12:30 – 13:00)
Cost – £8 per child. (Each booking for one child)
Where to go – Meet on the Castle drawbridge. Please do not arrive before your time slot.

Terms & Conditions

• Tickets for those with accessible needs and their siblings only.
• Pre-booking required.
• Bookings are not valid until authorised by Caldicot Castle (this is to ensure only those who have expressed interest in these sessions get tickets).
• Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
• Gifts from Santa will be non-food based.

We’re also offering quiet sessions to see Father Christmas and his elves at Caldicot Castle, with reduced numbers at each session. If your child has additional needs and would prefer a quieter session, please email caldicotcastle@monmouthshire.gov.uk.
